Celebrating the spirit of this year’s Olympic Games in Rio we’re looking forward to a carnival flavour for this year’s Saturday night festivities. The group has a unique sound and a wide ranging repertoire, encompassing lively dance tunes from around the world. Expect to enjoy dances from more exotic climes alongside your usual Celtic fair. With Cornwall’s mining diaspora reaching as far as Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and Brazil – a World Ceilidh is a wonderful way of celebrating our global connections in an evening of music and dance.
