Kana Rescorla 2.jpg

Kana Rescorla is a group of musicians and singers that focus on the performance of Cornish music.

Based in a former Methodist chapel they are keen on developing wider links with the community and on establishing Rescorla as a cultural and educational centre for mid-Cornwall. The centrepiece of their annual programme is the Rescorla Festival held over the third weekend in July that brings together musicians, singers, storytellers and dancers linked to their revival of Snail Creep, a processional dance that was popular in many of the villages of mid-Cornwall up until its decline in the mid-twentieth century.
