Back with us for 2019 we’re delighted to be showcasing some of Cornwall’s finest makers, this time in the Ballroom at the Hotel Bristol in Newquay.

Judy Scrimshaw’s ambition to publish a children's book set in Cornwall featuring Cornish creatures - written, illustrated, edited, printed and published by local people living in Cornwall was fulfilled with her first book 'The Ballad of Morgowr'. It didn’t stop there, with more Morgowr adventures to go on.

Susy ward is an instinctive, spontaneous artist. Her knowledge of ceramic technology and flair allows her to push the boundaries of form whilst maintaining the integrity of the clay itself. In the main, her functional tableware and artworks are wheel thrown and hand built using local stoneware clay from St Agnes, Cornwall.
